A good example of ADH
50 year old woman - small screen-detected focus of R3 calcs - core biopsy.
The core shows atypical ductal hyperplasia (ADH). 'Mouse-over' for closer view. Main features: low to intermediate grade cytology; small round nuclei;
partial duct involvement - would qualify as DCIS if whole duct involved.
Note luminal calc in top right hand corner of duct.
