These views show the cytologically bland nature of the endothelial linikng cells.The 'Mouse-over' shows a focus of low grade DCIS.

CK14 immunostaining (mouse-over) confirms the presence of a monotypic proliferation (of luminal epithelial cells. The bounding myoepithelial layer is stained crisply by the CK14 antibody.

DCIS colonises fibroadenomas uncommonly. It is important to assess the surrounding breast tissue because it extends outside the fibroadenoma in 50% of cases.
